Отсмотрела копию сайта "Белерианд. Северный предел" (beleriand.tirion.su). Все работает. В двух местах (http://beleriand.tirion.archive.pencioner.ru/text/shibboleth.html и http://beleriand.tirion.archive.pencioner.ru/text/grey.html) слетает кодировка, на оригинальном сайте этого бага нет.

...на всякий случай походила и по копии на arda.ru, хотя предполагаю, что они идентичны. Все то же самое, включая момент с кодировкой.
